ANAK KO aims to keep bereaving families‘ children’s memories alive, through funding of care packages, memorial markers and endowing scholarships in memory of children who they outlived, with the help of generous patrons from all over the world
When we lose a loved one, we aren’t always prepared, financially or emotionally. ANAK KO offers a support system for those who grieve their children and pets, through emotional and financial assistance and empowering families to honor them. This nonprofit organization was founded to bless families during their grief!

ANAK KO’s CAREing CAREdio Heavenly Hearts Rally In Sports (CHRIS) Memorial Valentines, which is named for the Founder, Dr. Elaine Dispo-Rendón’s cousin, Christopher Dispo—an athletic heart attack survivor and a stroke victim—will be held annually during Heart Disease Awareness Month in February, beginning in 2023. Fun, flexible fitness virtual sessions of your choice will raise heart health awareness and bereaved families support, including for the Dispo family. Here’s how to:

ANAK KO’s EJ 5K, named for the original President, Bernadette Aniag’s son, Elijah James, will be held annually during the weekend of Worldwide Candlelighting on the second Sunday of December, at 7PM🕯✨The very 1st one was held on MLK Day January 2021 to draw virtual runners/walkers in commemoration of all children in Heaven, including the late & great Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose own parents also had outlived him.👊🏿🎤
Pregnancy & Infant Loss (PAIL) Awareness Month is in October, with PAIL Remembrance Day on October 15th, the Feast of St. Gerard, Patron and Protector of Expectant Mothers and Unborn Babies. ANAK KO has held its 1st few Board-of-Directors (AKO BOD) quarterly meetings to induct new officers and discuss fundraising. Aside from memorial markers and scholarships, the AKO BOD also decided to add care packages for grieving parents, like some of us founders💝🧺The Board also had a consensus that AKO not only offers financial support, but also emotional support, as well. Now we have a CARE acronym for CARE packages + CHRISTmas CARE-oling CARE-oke to cheer up bereaving families: Community Advocates Render Empathy
